This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected when you use the farmlinkup.com  mobile application (“farmlinkup”) and the services provided through it (together the “Service”), how such personal data will be used, shared.       BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU PROMISE US THAT (I) YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, AND (II) YOU ARE OVER 16 YEARS OF AGE (OR HAVE HAD YOUR PARENT OR GUARDIAN READ AND AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY FOR YOU)    If you do not agree, or are unable to make this promise, you must not use the Service. In such case, you must contact the support team via email to request deletion of your account and data.   “Process”, in respect of personal data, includes to collect, store, and disclose to others

By agreeing to these Terms, you are also accepting the terms of our Privacy Policy. You should be aware that when you click certain links on our website ( farmlinkup.com ) or within our app you could be directed to other companies’ properties outside of our hosted environment where the information collected is outside of our direct control. The privacy policy of the third parties’ properties or applications will govern the information obtained from you by these third parties in those contexts.   
INFORMATION WE COLLECT, RECEIVE AND HOST
 Account and Profile Information: When you use our Services, we may require and use certain information such as a valid email address and password. In addition, users may create a profile that includes information such as their geography, first and last name, gender, phone number, interests and associated information, including photos they may wish to upload. Any information users share in publicly-available profiles are their own responsibility. You should carefully consider the risks of making certain personal information—particularly information such as address or precise location information—publicly available. Where a user has decided to login to our site using a third-party authentication service such as Facebook Connect, we may also receive additional profile or other information authorized by that provider.   Listings and Transactions: We may host the information, including personal information and contact information, valid contact information and password necessary to provide our Services. Much of the same information used to create an account or profile may be required to post a listing. Any information users share in listings is their own responsibility. Like with profiles, users should carefully consider the risks of making certain personal information—particularly information such as address or precise location information—publicly available in a listing.   Advertising and Promotions: We may collect personal information such as your name and contact information when you participate in marketing promotions we sponsor on our site or on third-party sites. We may also process information related to the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, including what ads are viewed and clicked either on our network or on third-party sites.   Customer Care: When you contact our customer care department, we may collect the personal information necessary to fulfil your request and to contact you for follow up as needed. We may also contact you using existing account contact information you provide to us for this purpose. We may also collect other information about our communications with our users, for example any user support requests that our users make or any feedback that our users provide to us.  Farmlinup.com Website and Mobile Data: We may automatically receive and log information on our servers from your browser or device including your IP address, software and hardware attributes, pages that you request, mobile identifiers, information about app usage, and other device or systems-level information. This can occur on our website or mobile app, or on third parties’ services.   Appended Information: We may also append information we lawfully obtain from business partners or third parties to existing data we hold about our users.   


IP ADDRESS, COOKIES & MOBILE IDENTIFIERS
   We may collect certain information through technology like cookies, pixels and local storage (like on your browser or device). Cookies are small text files that store information on your computer, mobile phone or other device locally. Pixels are small images that are part of codes on webpages that do things like allow another server to measure viewing of a webpage and often are used in connection with cookies. The code tracks if and when (and on which page) a pixel is loaded to indicate that a user has engaged with a specific screen or portion of a screen.    To provide our service we may use the information we collect and host for the following general purposes: (i) to provide customer services, including to create and manage user accounts, to resolve technical difficulties and to enable features; (ii) to customize offers and experiences, including advertising on our properties or third parties’ properties; (iii) to monitor general and individual user activity, such as keyword searches, postings and transactional activity, and to manage traffic on the Website; (iv) to contact our users, including for service matters, customer care or permitted marketing communications via any available communications channels; (v) to undertake research initiatives and to perform analytics to improve our services; and (vi) to enforce our Terms of Use including to combat fraud and abuse. We may retain information that we collect and observe on our network only for as long as is required to fulfil the above business objectives.

 We may share information we collect with our affiliates (companies under common ownership and control), located in any third country. These companies may only process and use this information to assist us for purposes described above and are bound to honor this Privacy Policy. We do not share personal information about our users with non-affiliated third parties unless we have our users’ specific permission to do so, or in the following circumstances: We may use third-party service providers to assist in offering aspects of our services, in which case they shall have no authority to independently use any personal information they process on our behalf and shall be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to share information with private or public authorities that will enable us to fight fraud and abuse on our network, to investigate suspected violations of law, or to fight any other suspected breach of our terms of service. We may share personal information with government authorities as required by applicable law. As a matter of policy we do not rent or sell personal information about our users with non-affiliated third parties unless we have our users’ specific permission to do so. In the event that our business or a division of our business is reorganized or sold and we transfer all or substantially all of our assets to a new owner, your personal information may be transferred to the buyer to enable continuity of service.    Access, Correction and Deletion: For users that have created an account or listing with us, you can access, correct or delete your personal information by writing to us at the following address: info@farmlinkup.com . You are responsible for keeping the data you provide or post on our network accurate. If your account was created through an identity provider (e.g. Facebook Connect) you may also disable or change the account information through the settings offered by the identity provider (e.g. on Facebook.com). Third-Party Choice: Certain third parties active on our site, e.g. Google Adwords, give you the ability to opt out of their collection and use of information for interest-based advertising. Cookies: Most major desktop and mobile web browsers (e.g Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera) provide controls that allow you to limit or block the setting of cookies on your systems. Note that disabling cookies in your browser for either first-party domains (the sites you actively visit) or third-party domains (companies other than those you directly visit on the Web) may result in decreased functionality in certain instances.

 All information we collect is protected by reasonable technical means and reasonable security procedures in order to prevent unauthorized access or use of data. Our affiliates, trusted partners and third-party service providers have committed to manage the information in accordance with our requirements for security and privacy.   


CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
 This Privacy Policy was last updated in 2nd of November, 2023. We may update this Policy from time to time, in which case we will post a prominent announcement on our properties’ home page for 30 days. By continuing to use our services after that period our users confirm their continuing acceptance of any updates to this Privacy Policy.

REFUND POLICY
 20.1 When you make a purchase on farmlinkup regarding Featured Ads and/or Paid Content all sales are final and no refunds will be provided. Refunds are at the sole discretion of farmlinkup.   
     
PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER
   Farmlinkup Online Marketplace for farmers is a product of Ultiads Resources registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria (with registered office at Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria) will be the controller of your personal data.   
CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
   We collect data you give us voluntarily (for example, an email address). We also collect data automatically (for example, your IP address).   2.1 Data you give us.   You may be asked to provide us information about yourself when you register for and/or use the Service. This information includes: first name, last name, phone number, email, gender, date of birth (together “Required Information”), as well as your photo, address details, working hours. You will need to provide us with your ID or similar identification document, if you want to post advertisement in Mobile Phones category, unblock your account or make duplicate account primary.   To use our Service and register an account, you will need to provide Required Information. You will be able to use the Service even if you do not give this data to us, but some Service’s functionality may be limited to you (for example, if you do no register an account, you will not be able to chat with other users, post ads, see contact details of other users).   Sometimes you may also need to provide to us additional information in the communication with our Support Team in order to fulfill your request (for example, if your account was previously blocked, we may ask you to confirm your identity by providing an ID document).   While posting announcement on the Service, you can decide to provide additional personal information on yourself. For example, you can decide to make available your CV. You acknowledge that by providing your personal data in announcement you are making such data publicly available. In addition, you acknowledge and agree that we will make public some personal data from your profile to provide the Service, - it will enable us to facilitate communication and transactions between the users.   You should carefully consider risks associated with the fact that you make certain information – in particular, you phone number, address or exact location – publicly available.   2.2. Data provided to us by third parties   When you decide to log in using Facebook, we get personal data from your Facebook account. This includes your profile image, name, and Facebook ID. Unless you opt out on the Facebook Login screen, we will also collect other data, such as email address, gender, date of birth, friends list, and location as listed in your Facebook profile.   For more information, please refer to the Facebook Permissions Reference (describes the categories of information, which Facebook may share with third parties and the set of requirements) and to the Facebook Data policy. In addition, Facebook lets you control the choices you made when connecting your Facebook profile to the App on their Apps and Websites page.   When you log in with Google, we get your name, email address, profile picture and Google ID. To remove access granted to us, visit Google Permissions.   When you decide to log in using Apple, we get Apple ID, name and email from your account. You can use Hide My Email function during signing in with Apple, and it will create and share a unique, random email address that will forward our messages to your personal email.   Apple lets you revoke access provided to the App on your Apple ID Manage Page by following the next steps.   If you were invited to create an account in the Service, the person that invited you can provide personal information about you, such as your phone number, email address, social media account or other contact information.   2.3. Data we collect automatically:   Data about how you found us   We collect data about your referring URL (that is, the place on the Web where you were when you tapped on our ad).   2.3.2. Device and Location data.   We collect data from your device. Examples of such data include: language settings, IP address, time zone, type and model of a device, device settings, operating system, Internet service provider, mobile carrier, hardware ID, and Facebook ID.   2.3.3. Usage data   We record how you interact with our Service. For example, we log the features, and content you interact with, how often you use the Service, how long you are on the Service, what sections you use, how many ads you watch.   2.3.4. Advertising IDs   We collect your Apple Identifier for Advertising (“IDFA”) or Google Advertising ID (“AAID”) (depending on the operating system of your device). You can typically reset these numbers through the settings of your device’s operating system (but we do not control this).   2.3.5. Transaction data   When you make payments through the Service, you need to provide financial account data, such as your credit card number, to our third-party service providers. We do not collect or store full credit card number data, though we may receive credit card-related data, data about the transaction, including: date, time and amount of the transaction, the type of payment method used.   2.3.6. To research and analyze your use of the Service   This helps us to better understand our business, analyze our operations, maintain, improve, innovate, plan, design, and develop Farmlinkup and our new products. We also use such data for statistical analysis purposes, to test and improve our offers. This enables us to better understand what features and sections of Farmlinkup our users like more, what categories of users use our Service. As a consequence, we often decide how to improve Farmlinkup based on the results obtained from this processing. For example, if we discover that Jobs section is not as popular as others, we may focus on improving it.   4.6. To send you marketing communications   We process your personal data for our marketing campaigns. We may add your email address to our marketing list. As a result, you will receive information about our farm products, such as for example, special offers, and Agricultural products of our partners. If you do not want to receive marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe following instructions in the footer of the marketing emails, by contacting our support team at info@farmlinkup.com, or in your profile settings.   We may also show you advertisements on the Website, and send you push notifications for marketing purposes. To opt out of receiving push notifications, you need to change the settings on your device or/and browser.   4.7. To personalize our ads   We and our partners use your personal data to tailor ads and possibly even show them to you at the relevant time. For example, if you have visited our Website, you might see ads of our products, for example, in your Facebook’s feed.   We may target advertising to you through a variety of ad networks and exchanges, using data from advertising technologies on and off of our Services like unique cookie or similar tracking technology, pixel, device identifiers, geolocation, operation system information, email.   How to opt out or influence personalized advertising   iOS: On your iPhone or iPad, go to “Settings,” then “Privacy” and tap “Advertising” to select “Limit Ad Track”. AVAILABLE REMEDIES
   If there is a data breach that may cause a risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals, we will notify competent supervisory authority, when such notification is mandatory. If the risk is assessed by us as “high”, we will also notify the affected data subjects without undue delay. The time frame for such notification will be developed by us on the basis of the number of affected data subjects and the time needed to collect contact information for notifications.   If the measures taken or proposed to be taken in response to the breach did not address your concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with competent supervisory authority or to seek redress in a court of competent jurisdiction.   
NO LIMITATION CLAUSE
   No limitation of liability shall avail us in case we act in breach of the principles set out in Section 3.   
HOW YOU CAN EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS
   To be in control of your personal data, you have the following rights:   Accessing / reviewing / updating / correcting your personal data. You may review, edit, or change the personal data that you had previously provided to Farmlinkup in the settings section on the Website.   You may also request a copy of your personal data collected during your use of the Service at info@farmlinkup.com.   Deleting your personal data. You can request the erasure of your personal data by sending us an email at info@farmlinkup.com.   When you request deletion of your personal data, we will use reasonable efforts to honor your request. In some cases, we may be legally required to keep some of the data for a certain time; in such an event, we will fulfill your request after we have complied with our obligations.   Objecting to or restricting the use of your personal data (including for direct marketing purposes). You can ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data or limit our use thereof by sending a request at info@farmlinkup.com.   The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We would love you to contact us directly, so we could address your concerns. Nevertheless, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.    
AGE LIMITATION
   We do not knowingly process personal data from persons under 16 years of age. If you learn that anyone younger than 18 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@farmlinkup.com.   
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
   We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to make material changes to this Privacy Policy, you will be notified through our Service or by other available means and will have an opportunity to review the revised Privacy Policy. By continuing to access or use the Service after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.   
DATA RETENTION
   We will store your personal data for as long as it is reasonably necessary for achieving the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy (including providing the Service to you), which includes (but is not limited to) the period during which you have a Farmlinkup account. We will also retain and use your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
